Lumen Wolves hunt together. A pack follows the grazing herds, works the edges of the woodland and the open ridges, and moves on when the prey moves. Hunts happen whether you are watching or not, and what they leave behind feeds the next animal along.
Their markings carry living light, faint at rest and bright in the chase. At dusk a pack crossing the valley is often easier to see than to hear.
Field notes
- Watch from cover and a distance; a pack that notices you decides together what to do about it.
- Fire, light and noise change how bold a wolf is, and boldness runs in families.
