Description

Wildbound is a single-player creature research and survival game for Windows. Explore a living, seeded wilderness, observe and tame its animals through trust, breed new lineages, and build a field camp that keeps you alive.

Features

  • Observe. Every animal has needs, a territory and a temperament. Watch from cover with binoculars, learn what it eats and when it moves, and fill your field guide with what you have actually seen.
  • Earn trust. There is no capture ball. Animals bond through patience: the right food, the right moment, no sudden fright. Up to two bonded companions travel with you into the field.
  • Breed new lines. Genes blend into the body you see: size, colour, horns, living light. Pair animals at camp and follow a lineage across generations.
  • Survive the wild. Weather, water and predators are real. Rain fills rivers, floods spread, and a hungry pack does not care that you came to study it. Build a camp, keep it powered, and make it home.

About the developer

Dennon Developments is Kody Dennon and Terry Forrester, an independent team building Wildbound in the open with playtesters and members.

Made with AI

Much of Wildbound’s code, the tools that build its original models, materials and sounds, and much of its in-game writing were made with the help of AI assistants (Claude, by Anthropic). The early concept boards were made with ChatGPT, as art references only. Full sources and licences are in the credits.
